What is SAFe RTE Certification?
The SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification validates your ability to facilitate Agile Release Trains, coach teams and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement at the program level. RTEs are servant leaders who orchestrate PI Planning, manage dependencies, and optimize flow across multiple Agile teams.
The certification is earned by completing a 2-day (16-hour) course taught by a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) and passing the online SAFe RTE exam within 30 days of course completion. Upon certification, you receive one year of access to the SAFe Community Platform, 16 PDUs/SEUs, and the credentials to lead program-level Agile delivery.

This course follows official SAFe RTE learning outcomes and exam objectives. In addition, you will practice AI-empowered workflows suited to Release Trains: clarifying objectives before PI Planning, drafting and refining dependency hypotheses, summarizing risks and impediments for leadership, and accelerating communications—always with verification, privacy, and human accountability. These additions complement (they do not replace) classic RTE facilitation and coaching skills.
